Classes
Two Saturday programs at Iron Kingz Gym in Honolulu. Beginners are welcome in Krav Maga. Professional personnel train in U-DTAC.
Krav Maga
Krav Maga Hawaii provides beginner-friendly, reality-based self-defense training for adults of all experience levels. The program takes a comprehensive approach to personal safety by combining situational awareness, avoidance, boundary setting, de-escalation, physical self-defense, fighting skills, and functional fitness.
Students learn how to recognize developing danger, make better decisions under stress, and respond effectively when avoidance and de-escalation are no longer possible. Training addresses common grabs, strikes, chokes, holds, ground encounters, and other realistic threats while developing confidence, coordination, strength, mobility, and resilience.
You do not need previous martial arts experience or exceptional fitness to begin. Skills are introduced progressively and practiced in a supportive, safety-conscious environment. The goal is not to make students fearful or aggressive. It is to give them the awareness, judgment, and practical ability to protect themselves and the people they care about—so they may walk in peace.
U-DTAC
Universal Defensive Tactics, or U-DTAC, is a practical defensive-tactics system developed specifically for security officers, executive-protection professionals, and others working in protective-service roles.
Unlike a traditional martial arts class, U-DTAC addresses the real responsibilities and limitations of the modern security professional. Training emphasizes the appropriate use of force while balancing three essential requirements: safety, effectiveness, and defensibility.
